With the end of the school year comes the graduation parties, year end shows and lots of plans for a great summertime. It is also time to thank the wonderful teachers who do an amazing job of educating our children.
This year I wanted to do something different, so instead of buying a present or gift card, I surprised the teachers with a special homemade breakfast complete with gaufres, amaretti cake and fresh squeezed orange juice. It was a simple gesture that made a big impression! I hope they realized how special they are.

Oh Su, you put me to shame, I did not thank the teachers properly...there is always next year! I had given gift cards in the past though... You need yo gibes the recipes and I did not know what gaufres were... Learning new stuff with la Su!!
